Help Us Get the Lead Out

Important:  The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), published the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) in January 2021, which requires all community and nontransient noncommunity water systems to submit a service line inventory to DEP by October 16, 2024.

The Lehighton Water Authority with the help of Lehighton Borough's Utility Office will be mailing out a letter enclosed with monthly utility bills requesting your input for a survey, this survey will take about 10 minutes and will help us identify and ultimately remove lead service lines from the existing infrastructure.  

You will be asked to:

     1. Enter your contact information

     2. Identify your service lines

     3. And upload a picture

The survey letter will have a QR Code to scan with your smartphone or you can go directly to the following website and take the survey - https://lehightonwater.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html
